Breeding |
Spawns like a Cichlid. The male will dig a depression in the sand where he will guard the eggs for
their 7 day incubation. The fry are usually safe with their parents. |

Comments |
The Flag Fish can be kept much like the common livebearers, Platies, Swordtails and Mollies. It doesn't mind higher pH or even a little salt in the water. They make excellent fish for algae clean up. |
